China pesticide sales up 23% in 2012 According to the statistics of China National Bureau of Statistics, total 820 Chinese pesticide enterprises above designated size whose data were collated realized a total industrial output value of Yuan 40.2 billion in first 2 months 2013, with an increase of 21.3% on the same period last year. Sales of pesticides grew by 21.2% to Yuan 37.9 billion. Among them, output value and sales growth of biopesticides both exceeded that of Chemical pesticide. But the rate of industrial product sale fell to 94.3%.
